Daycut Privacy Policy

Daycut, published by ERSIN LTD, helps you make short videos from photos and videos you choose. No Daycut account is required. The existing sections below describe the iOS version; Android-specific details follow separately.

Media stays on your device

Daycut reads only media you select through the system picker. It makes app-owned copies, thumbnails, edit plans and finished videos on your device. Local Vision and quality heuristics analyze those copies. The app does not upload your media or use a remote semantic AI provider. Live Photos use their still images. Selected iCloud items may download through the system picker.

Your projects and choices

Projects, settings and edit history stay in the app's local storage until you delete them or remove the app. Delete a project from My videos to remove its app-owned source copies and outputs. Deleting a Daycut project never deletes originals in Photos or files you already saved or shared. Saving a finished video asks for add-only Photos permission; sharing uses the native share sheet.

Local measurements

Anonymous action counts and the last 30 generation timings are kept on this device. They contain no media, filenames, faces or account identity and are not sent to a server. Daycut does not include advertising, tracking, remote analytics or remote crash-reporting SDKs.

Purchases

Apple processes subscriptions. Daycut reads verified StoreKit transaction and current entitlement information to enable exports for additional new projects. It does not collect payment-card data. The first completed project and re-exporting that same project remain available without a subscription. Purchase cancellation and failure grant no subscription access. Restore and subscription management remain reachable in Settings and the offer screen.

Help and privacy requests

Use Daycut's support page for product help and privacy requests. The page's contact form requires the information you choose to submit and sends it to the publisher's support service. Avoid including personal media or payment information in a support request.

Android version

Daycut Android is distributed through the existing Appqe LLC Google Play listing. No Daycut account or sign-in is required. The iOS sections above remain specific to the iOS product.

Selected media and local projects

Android reads only photos and clips you choose with the system picker. It copies selected files into private app storage and creates thumbnails, face-position hints, image labels, edit plans and finished videos locally. Face detection helps frame selected content; it does not identify people. Selected media and analysis results are not uploaded to Daycut or a remote generative AI service.

Projects and their copies stay on your device until you delete them, clear app data or uninstall Daycut. My videos removes app-owned project files. It never deletes gallery originals or videos already saved or shared. Save writes a separate video to the Android media library or a document destination you choose. Share gives read access to the exported file to your chosen app; that destination's privacy policy applies.

Google ML Kit diagnostics

Bundled Google ML Kit performs face detection and image labeling on the device. Google receives SDK usage/diagnostic information and per-installation identifiers over HTTPS, including app/device versions, timings, events/errors and input dimensions. There is no in-app switch for these SDK metrics. See Google's ML Kit disclosure and ML Kit privacy terms.

Android does not integrate Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, advertising or an advertising identifier. This does not disable the separate ML Kit metrics described above.

Google Play purchases

Google Play processes Android subscriptions and payments. Daycut reads current purchase information and verifies signed purchase data to determine access to additional project exports. Our subscription notification service processes package/product information, purchase tokens and subscription events for subscription/access administration. Daycut does not receive payment-card numbers.

The first completed real project and re-exporting that project remain free for this Android installation. Selecting, editing and previewing do not require a purchase. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play; restore is available in Settings and the offer. Clearing app data or deleting projects does not cancel billing.

Hosted pages, requests and your choices

The introduction, offer and product catalog load from daycut.cloud. Requests include the app identity, language and platform needed to serve the page. Hosting services receive normal request information such as IP address and browser/device headers; selected personal media is not included. Embedded website cookies and local storage are preserved between visits. They are separate from local project and purchase records.

Use the canonical support form for help, privacy or deletion requests. Information you choose to submit reaches the publisher's support service; avoid including private media, payment-card information or account secrets. Provider-held ML Kit and Google Play records follow those providers' policies and controls. Deleting local projects does not erase those provider records. This policy makes no fixed retention or completed remote-deletion promise for SDK or billing records.

Google ML Kit tanılama verileri

Uygulamadaki Google ML Kit, yüz algılama ve görüntü etiketlemeyi cihazında yapar. Google; kurulum tanımlayıcıları ile uygulama/cihaz sürümü, süre, olay/hata ve girdi boyutu gibi SDK kullanım/tanılama verilerini HTTPS üzerinden alır. Bu SDK ölçümleri için uygulama içinde kapatma ayarı yoktur. Google'ın açıklamasını ve ML Kit gizlilik koşullarını inceleyebilirsin.

Android sürümünde Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, reklam veya reklam tanımlayıcısı entegrasyonu yoktur. Bu durum, yukarıdaki ayrı ML Kit ölçümlerini kapatmaz.

Google Play satın alımları

Android aboneliklerini ve ödemelerini Google Play işler. Daycut, ek proje dışa aktarımlarına erişim için mevcut satın alma bilgilerini okur ve imzalı verileri doğrular. İnternet sayfaları ve taleplerin
